AJ Renard has been involved in the BDSM world her entire adult life, although she was a dark little thing far before that. She has a deep passion for teaching about BDSM, and is pursuing her Masters to work with the kink community in clinical practice and political advocacy.
AJ worked for a number of years as a bondage and fetish model, and still loves shooting both kink and non-fetish projects. She practices self-rigging and suspension, and finds her happy place when there is rope, electricity, knives, boots, impact, fear, and a lot of crying involved. She also makes chainmaille for her shop, Foxy Feisty Redhead, when she manages to find free time.
AJ loves teaching about consent, negotiations, bottoming for the Violet Wand, perspectives on D/s, bottoming for intense and edgeplay, and behavioral science in PE dynamics. She also loves demo bottoming for her Dominant, and things that make her shy in front of groups of people.
Many people find release in pain and can effectively use it as a coping mechanism to manage anxiety, stress, chronic pain, and other challenges. This class focuses on discussing the differences between masochism and detrimental self-injurious behavior, including the physical, emotional, and psychological effects of each. We will talk about interacting and providing support (whether it be intimate relationships, kinky play, or in a mental health setting) with people who need pain in their lives.
Many couples begin their explorations into BDSM in the bedroom, and sometimes discover that they want to continue that power differential in other aspects of their lives. If you decide to explore a PE dynamic, it can easily become overwhelming, for one or both partners. This class discusses things to talk about with your partner, common pitfalls, some easy protocols to integrate into your relationship, and strategies for starting slowly. Depending on the experience level of the attendees, deepening your relationship and reinforcing roles through protocol and service can also be discussed.
Bottoming for the Violet Wand is a class focused on skills for Violet Wand bottoms, or those interested in bottoming for electrical play. We will discuss safety, how to vet and assess Wand Tops' skills and knowledge, how to negotiate the type of play and experience you want, the after-effects of a wand scene, and more! This class also provides a hands-on opportunity to experience a variety of different sensations from the wand, allowing both new and experienced bottoms a chance to try different types of electrodes and toys. While the class is geared towards bottoms of all skill levels, Tops are welcome, particularly if they want to gain more knowledge about how to effectively and safely introduce new bottoms to the Violet Wand.
Bosch has been in the Boston area kink community for quite some time now, learning, presenting, vending and generally having a good time. He has been tying people up for almost as long, sometimes making it look pretty, sometimes making it hurt, but always enjoying himself in the process. He is a teacher, a web developer, a father, a very kind and generous guy. He has been known to be dominant, sadistic, sarcastic, and very mean to those who would appreciate that sort of thing. He also collects and sells 18th, 19th, and early 20th century antique erotica and sex-related books and kinky antiques (ForMySir.com).
This class is about simple techniques to make your rope work "pretty," suitable for photography or displaying yourself or rope bottom at parties. We will discuss how to be attentive to the way your rope and knots lay. We will incorporate weaving, decorative knots and find ways to creatively finish a tie (using up all the leftover rope). We incorporate the techniques we discuss into the Chest Harness and Karada but show how these techniques can be incorporated into to any tie. We will talk about how to incorporate other objects (rings, wood, chopsticks) into our ties. Class participants will be encouraged to be imaginative, to develop their own artistic style and exchange ideas with the class.
We will learn 3 designs to bind the arms together safely in the front or the back. We will learn techniques to anchor a tie from both torso or from the wrists/hands. We will discuss variations that will help you make choices based on your intention for the tie and your rope bottom's flexibility. We close the class by learning a simple and fun (and a bit sadistic) Chinese arm-wrapping restraint.
Brookeish is a non-binary, queer-ish sadomasochistic rope switch of doom and woo, looking for all the flavors of weird!
Come learn how to use the building blocks you know in fun and creative ways! Improvising with rope is a skill that needs to be practiced just as often as all the basic ties in your rope toolbox.
In this class we will go through a loosely structured progression of tying, practicing how to improvise by allowing ourselves to make mistakes and learn from them. We will cover methods to develop flow and share in discussions with others on how to overcome challenges in free-form tying. We will work on becoming comfortable with all the variables that come with "planning" a rope scene and most importantly continue to grow our love of playing with rope!
A former teacher with a lifelong passion for the bizarre and filthy, Carmen Monoxide has also worked as a professional Domme and sex educator. She has presented for Dark Odyssey, A Touch of Flavor, Ohio SMART, Black Rose, Indecent Enterprises, BESS, The Baltimore Playhouse, and Studio 58. She sometimes takes her clothes off and performs onstage and on camera, and her favorite things include cephalopods, glitter, learning, meeting new people and orgasms.
Do plumbers, electricians, and dirty construction workers make you weak in the knees? Are you a tradesman who owns more tools than toys? Then this class is for you! The same pieces you use at work everyday can serve as utensils for sadism and kinky fun. In this class we demonstrate how to use the gear in your toolbox for everything from sensual play to very heavy impact. We'll discuss the types of tools that are safe to use, the sensations they provide, and the ways to best clean and care for each piece before and after use.
Anal sex as depicted in pornography seems like a spontaneous act. Sure, shove your entire dick in my ass! Who needs lube?
In reality, however, performers spend anywhere from twenty minutes to several hours preparing their minds and bodies for anal penetration. In this course we will discuss the differing experiences of spontaneous versus planned and prepped anal sex, and walk you through several methods of cleaning and stretching the anus to help make even the roughest anal sex pleasurable.
The G-spot (and its male counterpart, the prostate or P-spot) is a tiny but powerful little bundle of nerve endings that can send your partner into outer space when stimulated. After a brief discussion on the history of this hot button topic we will explain and demonstrate several methods of finding and hitting the sweet spots both manually and with toys.
This course covers a myriad of ways to cause pain using the hips, legs and feet. We'll demonstrate and practice effective and safe kicking, stomping, trampling, and leg holds, discuss how footwear choices can affect a scene, and go over different ways to use the lower body for sadism and humiliation.

This will be a down to earth approach with practical strategies and reality based examples for opening an existing relationship to alternative relationship models. I will use a variation of class formats.
This will be a casual presentation. I will give a brief intro of who I am and then I will dive into questions I have asked participants to write down and place in a bucket. I will have dozens of standard questions asked at previous workshops.

Contrary to popular belief kink isn't always serious business. Join us as we explore incorporating playfulness in your kink. We share not only stories of our own experiences with whimsical and flirtatious play but demonstrations to prove it. We will discuss strategies for crafting lighthearted yet intimate scenes as well as incorporating playfulness into kink-based relationship dynamics. And while participation is never required, we highly encourage it in this class.
Dynamics in kink are often thought of as bottom and top, dominant and submissive, sadist and masochist. But what happens when both partners are switches? How do you establish a relationship dynamic when both partners want to play multiple roles? How do you set scenes and have play that fulfills each person? How do you negotiate and set boundaries around role switching? Part of the fun of switching is fluidity, but fluidity can sometimes complicate our dynamics in play. In this workshop, we will discuss strategies for negotiating dynamics and play as well as role transitions. The class is meant to provide things to think about in your own negotiations and play as well as be a venue to share your ideas with others!

Ginny has been interested and involved in the kink scene in a minor fashion for almost twenty five years. But more recently, since beginning her transition and embracing her truth, she has stepped up and out to broaden and deepen her knowledge and experience. Now that she is gaining some of that knowledge she wants to share it with the community and help those newer than her along their paths. To do this she has become a community munch leader and volunteer for causes she holds dear. In particular she wants to help with empowerment of women and LGBT+ folks in the scene through intersectional theory and practices, advocacy and outreach.
SIG for cis and trans women who identify as lesbian, bi, demi-, pan or really any sexuality that includes being a woman who loves women. It can be hard to meet up with and connect with women in most spaces. Heteronormativity makes it hard to know who might be receptive to advances, and toxic masculinity can make it hard to be comfortable 'putting yourself out there.' This is a safe place to meet others who are like you, maybe flirt a bit and just enjoy the company of your sisters. If a connection comes out of it, all the better!
Everything from bondage furniture and tools for torture and sensory play, to a walk around the isles of DomDepot for pervertables; we will talk about what it takes to make the things you want to have and use in the home and dungeon
Maybe you know a trans friend, or you just met someone at an event or you just want to be an ally in these tough times, but you don't know how to be a good ally to trans folk. Where can you turn to get that information? Well, if Google has failed you, or you learn better from asking questions, this is the panel for you. The panelists are willing to take any questions you may have about being transgender and how to help the trans people who are in your lives.

Overall however my passion is helping people find their way in this lifestyle and helping those who have already found it to navigate it safely and grow personally.
In this interactive session we will discuss the issue of failure (or mistakes) in BDSM communities. Making and learning from mistakes is an important component of success. However, in the culture of S/M, Leather and BDSM we have placed a significant amount of taboo around failure. This session will discuss this in detail and brainstorm some ways we can change this and set more positive and constructive cultural norms.
Piercing doesn't have to just been metallic and medical. In this class we will discuss the details around using porcupine quills for piercing play. Class will include safety concerns, how to acquire quills, and techniques for play. A hands-on demo will be included if possible.

Strong, spirited, and ever-evolving. Kinkerbelle is a queer femme hailing from New England with a love for learning both in and out of the classroom and anything rope-related. While their kinks are many and varied, education stands at the very top. Learning on its own is fun, but sharing knowledge with peers and students takes the cake.
As an educator, Kinkerbelle aims to fill a gap in the kink world: classes and material taught by bottoms that benefit both other bottoms and their top counterparts. They share lessons learned the hard way, things found through trial and error and show that while everyone is human and bound to make mistakes, it's a lot easier to learn from someone else's. They share from a communication based perspective and aim to show that "soft" skills are just as important if not more so than hard technical skills. While rope comes in second on their list of favorite kinks, they teach about a wide variety of other things including service, touch, and communication with an ever-expanding list.
Outside of the classroom, Kinkerbelle can be found on their mat doing sun salutations, experimenting in the kitchen, or barricaded in their bed by a wall of books. They love long walks on the beach and ball gags covered in drool. They can easily be picked out of a crowd by their adorable chronic hiccups and they love trying to play with their cat, whose insistence on biting reminds them that even their cat is a little bit twisted just like his owner.
When you think 'femme,' what comes to mind? Lipstick, high heels, dresses? Femmes come in every shape, size, and form imaginable and it means something different to every single one of them. Every femme has their own toolbox and armor that keeps them feeling fine and fulfilled. This class is for femmes and their admirers by other femmes. Some femme politics, what' in your respective femme toolbox, and what is essentially femme to you are all things we will cover in this workshop and discussion style class.
So you want to take a dive into the deep end of the pool? This class might be for you then. Bring your questions and curiosity about edgy play and how to bottom for it as Kinkerbelle breaks down and demystifies more extreme forms of play. Edge play is full of calculated risks and preparation, some of which we don't always get to observe when we see scenes on and offline. We will be discussing some of the important steps to take to prepare and heal the body and mind as bottoms including things to consider when negotiating and the communication skills necessary to make edge play successful. Join us in this discussion based class as we poke around and find where each of our edges lie and figure out how to cross them.

There are many reasons people choose to use and incorporate clothing and fabric into their tying. Sometimes it's for aesthetic and photographic reasons. Other times its used to create specific sensations or emotions. Whatever your reason this class is going to go over very specific ways you can play, manipulate, and tie with clothing and fabric. We will show you how it can create more intimacy in your scene and how it can also be a very useful and readily available tool just like your rope. From beauty to function we are going to explore the creativity of a wider range of natural fibers.
Rope bottoming is a skill and it's not always easy to navigate. In this class I will teach my Ostara TK which I have thoughtfully designed to not only be aesthetically pleasing but also to avoid common issues my bottoms and I have experienced with TKs over the years. I will go over the preferred tension, placement, dressing, frictions and the reasons behind the design and also demo how it can be easily loaded in different places. My bottom Lovebinds will talk about her bottoming experience with this tie. While this class will focus on the TK version of my Ostara design if there is time at the end I will show some modifications that I often use with this harness.
lovebinds is a switchy, kinky nurse who has been active in the local Maine community since 2014. She is passionate about rope bondage, and has been tying, self-tying, and bottoming for over 3 years. She has been teaching at Maine rope groups and events since 2017 with a focus on intermediate rope skills, rope bottoming, and bondage safety. Her experience as a nurse has been very beneficial in informing her safety courses. She is also one of the leaders of Black Knot Rope Group (B.K.R.G.) in Southern Maine alongside her partners. Her primary goal in teaching is to facilitate communication and teamwork between tops and bottoms, increase safety awareness, and bridge the gap between beginner and advanced rope education.
So you've got the basics down? Check! But now you want to know how to tie more intermediate harnesses? Or maybe you've been in a class where the instructor tells you to create a half-moon and you don't know what they're talking about? Then it's time to learn about frictions and hitches and how you can use them to create structure and stability in your ties. This class is going to focus on commonly used frictions and hitches, break down how they work, and show some examples of them in use. From finger techniques to placement and direction, this class will have you tying it all together in no time.
This lecture-based class will go in depth on nerve safety for rope bondage. Basic anatomy and physiology will be discussed and demonstrated, with a focus on the nerves most affected in bondage. The most common injuries will be discussed, along with the mechanisms causing these injuries. We will discuss ways to reduce the risk of injury and ways to monitor your body for injuries during and after rope. How to deal with an injury and take care of one will be taught. The class will be finished with a round-table discussion with bottoms and tops sharing their experiences with nerve injuries. There will be time for Q&A.

Unequal Partnership: a collaborative D/s (M/s) relationship model. This is an interactive presentation that makes the case for a non-adversarial or collaborative dominant/submissive partnership. Partnership is the core value. In this model, partnership is lived and is supported everyday. Many couples (or poly) need a more collaborative---"we're a team"---approach to D/s (M/s) instead of the traditional adversarial models. You can expect a thorough explanation of the differences between these models plus hands on exercises that demonstrate what these are like. You'll get to try them on and see how you feel. No prior knowledge is needed. Singles and all others are welcome.
Female dominants of all types need a sharing circle for their questions and for sharing their experiences and life solutions. My facilitation is positive and we always practice safe space for all. Everyone, the curious and the experienced, are welcome.
MrKinkyBear and taylorella_KB are a passionate, playful, prickly, polyamorous pair. You might call them your friendly neighborhood sadist/sadomasochist with a love for the connection found through pain. While their favorite kink is learning about all of the things, they have a special place for sharps play as it allows them to combine his creative flair and her analytical style. When not indulging in play they can be found spending time with their better third, MrsKinkyBear.
This entry level needle play class will lead its audience through the basics of needle play and how to create a safer sharps scene. The class will culminate with HANDS ON practice where participants can move through basic needle play with the guidance and supervision of the instructors. Topics will include safety, negotiations, required equipment, play space setup/breakdown, sharps disposal, and basic play piercing techniques. Please bring your own supplies if possible. Extra supplies will be available, but limited.
I think we can agree that negotiation in the kink world is an art. With negotiation games, we hope to guide you in cultivating this complex art in a low pressure and fun way. The class will start with an overview of negotiation and then break out into a series of games and activities to help us hone our negotiation skills.
This demonstration will take needle play into the world of art. Using staples, needles, string, feathers, and other embellishments we will show you how to create corsets, wings, and other fun designs.
Curious about incorporating suturing into play but not sure where to start? This class will start with a demonstration and follow up discussion on how to utilize suturing during a scene. Then you will learn how to perform various suturing techniques and have HANDS ON practice time.

What to do when one partner needs to be seated due to health or physical limitations. Sometimes this means a partner is in a wheelchair, other times having a person playing seated can be helpful to those with joint problems, balance issues, or for people who need to use assistive mobility devices. This class will look at options primarily for impact and sensation play. Variations for both the top and the bottom will be discussed and demonstrated. Attendees are encouraged to share their challenges if we don't cover that situation and we look forward to hearing solutions that have worked for you as well. This class combines lecture and demo.
What are the long term repercussions of play? I've never been injured, could there be problems down the road? What could happen to Tops? As much as we try to deny it, one day we will age out of our 20's. Let's look at how our play today might impact the long term health. Not a lot of research is done on BDSM play and injury, but there is research from other traumatic (yes even if we enjoy it, our physical being might be experiencing trauma) events on the body. We'll discuss play, research and suggest some ways to assess and modify your risk exposure. We encourage you to share your concerns, experiences and maybe even getting some of their techniques looked at to improve play ergonomics. This class combines lecture and demo.
Stephan and sweetwisteria have been in an M/s dynamic for five years exploring what power and authority exchange mean to them and how they can help teach others to explore power exchange. Together they enjoy educating on a myriad of subjects around the M/s dynamic, service, formal dining, etiquette, and many other subjects. They also live in a poly household with six adults, two cats and a dog, adding to the complexity of their M/s and service to both a person and a house.
Outside of the house they enjoy finding amazing gastronomical adventures and travelling, if it wasn't for this thing called real life they would probably never be home.
One of the most fantasized aspects of M/s relationships is formal white glove dinner service. In this class we deep dive into the traditions of formal dinner service, from meal planning, seating arrangements, plate settings, wine pairings, serving the meal. How to help set the expectations for yourself and your guests.
In this class we will take a look at the relationships beyond play and the dungeons. Power and Authority dynamic relationships are one of the things that attracts many people to kink through writings like Bonds of Beauty, Marketplace, or Gor. But how do we make these relationships work on a day to day basis in the world we live in? We will discuss the journey we have taken, the good and the pitfalls of these types of relationships.
Some times we just want to do things for ourselves. As Masters, Mistresses, Dominants, we need to remember we are in a style of relationship where authority and power are not equal. In this class we will discuss authority based relationships and how the left side of the slash (Master/Mistress/Dominant) works to accept service from the right side of the slash. We will discuss pitfalls of being served, how to explore the joy of being served and service, and how to show appreciation for the services given. We will also explore a few types of service and give examples of rules, rituals and protocols to show that we appreciate the person giving service.
I am a skilled top and domme and have been active in the local community for about five years. I got hooked on flogging at my first play party. After a few scenes, I purchased some floggers to keep in my toy bag so I could always be ready in case I found a willing top. It was on a whim during the summer of 2017 that I purchased a matched set of floggers and set out to learn Florentine flogging. Within no time I had my first flogging scene as a top! I continue to practice and love to arrange flogging scenes as often as I can. I have since developed beginner classes that were held at the local dungeon. I'm always happy to demonstrate the art of flogging with others.
Floggers are wonderful impact tools, from stingy to thuddy to sensual and all points in between. Let's put a flogger in your hands so you and your bottom can have as much fun as possible. This hands-on class will offer some ideas for you to add this versatile item to your repertoire and create fabulous flogging scenes.
