This class will go over the many ways rope can be utilized for scenes that will delight sadists and masochists alike, including tight, constricting rope: strenuous positions: and the combination of rope and pressure points. We will also discuss safety, anatomy, and scene construction.

The various ties commonly called Karada are all various ways to surround the torso and body with 'ropey goodness'. Often very comfortable, this is one of the rope ties that can be worn secretly under your clothes. We will cover as many variations of the Karada as time allows: with knots, without knots, diamond or tortoise-shell shaped. As time allows we will discuss modifications including how to tie rope out of the way for access to the naughty bits and how to include the arms and continue the tie down the legs.
This class does NOT require a rope bottom and does not require
experience. We will be doing most of our work tying rope around our
own thighs. Your own thighs are just easier and they don't wiggle
when you tickle them (usually).
I will present three different ways of tying rope around a
torso. I will show ways of adding structure to the rope so
that it does what corsets traditionally do, i.e. squeeze in the right
places. I will give you the tools you need to design a
number of different corsets to fit a number of different body types.
Curious about what to wear for what event, or maybe thinking about how to use what you wear to spice up your play? Come find out lots of useful info about 'the icing on the cake' (what we wear) in this fun and interactive class.

The term 'vanilla' is used to refer to someone who is not, by our definition, kinky. We have all heard it, often being used in a negative way. But let's face it: the world is full of vanilla people. Is it possible to form functional emotional and/or erotic relationships with them? Danie has been in a happy and sometimes painfully honest relationship with a non-kinkster for over 12 years. We will talk about dating across the flavor line, including discussing our needs (and those of our partners) and ways to get them met in the longer term.
Maybe you are new, or perhaps been around the block a few times - now what? How do you jump in the deep end of the pool without losing yourself? How do you make it in the scene after the "new & shiny" wears off? The big fun playground we call "the scene" can have some pretty dark corners; let's talk about how to protect ourselves and hopefully our friends from lurking pitfalls. Come join us as we talk about burnout, reputations, speed bumps, flame outs, and how to not screw yourself over in the pursuit of fun.
It's time to crack those whips in The Bullwhip Lounge. Bring your short single tails, 5' or less, for hands-on instruction in the safe use of your whip. If you already know the basics, come and practice, or get some tips from some the best whip artists in New England. If you've never cracked a whip we can teach you the basic Archers crack in just a few minutes, and then show you how to build on that. With a little practice, you'll be able to craft a great whip scene from start to finish. Don't have your own whip yet? Come to the Bullwhip Lounge anyway, we have a few extras.
Come learn about being a pet or being an owner to a pet. Come explore the mental, physical, and emotional sides of both. We will talk about head space, safety, toys/gear, and aftercare. Half the class will be discussion and the other half will be experiencing being a pet or owner.

After we demo the toys we will open it up for you to try toys out, ask questions about how to use them, and we can brainstorm other ways to use the toys you have!
Experienced folks: bring your questions about specific types of toys or materials, stories, and feedback for others. For beginners curious about how these things all work and feel, this is the perfect class for you. Bring questions and an open mind!

What it is, what it isn't, why on earth would you want to be in one?
In this lecture style presentation (with questions, squirrels and assorted shiny objects thrown in for good measure) we want to examine the creation, care and maintenance of a Master/slave relationship dy-namic. Along the way we hope to address a few mythconceptions.
The pornography and erotica industry frequently depicts submissive men as inferior specimens of masculinity. Often this stereotype is supported by our perceptions of gender based cultural expectations. We want to examine some different examples of the female dominant and male submissive dynamic.
Have you ever taken the BDSM quiz? Ever thought that there was a lot more going on than just the B,D,S, and M? Then this class will help you understand the complex landscape and language that we use to help others understand our identities. This class will be open for any and all respectful questions from the attendees.
You've been doing rope for a while now and desire to spice it up with hot shit rope tricks. Come and
learn some tricks and tips to make your rope more exciting, both for those in the scene, and for those
watching. If you don't have an existing partner or partners, finding one (or several) just before or
during the start of class should not be hard.

â?¢ Format: Hands-On
â?¢ Partnered: Not Necessary
â?¢ Bring with: Rope
â?¢ Clothing: N/A
Rope, on its own is quite enjoyable, but sometimes, you want to do a bit more or have a different
aesthetic. Rings and pegs can be nice additions to your floor work, help expand in one of the many
directions you can take. This hands-on class will combine rings, pegs, or both into your various
designs to modify them on the fly, make them tighter, or just give a different visual feel to your rope.
This class is not about the ties themselves, you are expected to know how to tie the basic ties, but
about the Jazz of the rope, as you add your rings and pegs. It is good to know your partner, or partners
well, before-hand, for some of this can get quite painful.
When I don't have Jack Elfrink's KinkyRopes.com available to me, I get my rings from:
http://www.mcmaster.com/#chain-rings/=dxsxvs
and I prefer 1/4" diameter of the steel, with an outer-diameter of the ring being 2". Carabiners can
be used in a pinch. I get my dowels from:
http://www.mcmaster.com/#wood-dowels/=dxt28n
somewhere between 1/4" to 1/2" widths, and cut the length down to 6", giving me 6 or 8 per stick,
or go to a garden supply store, and get some of the bamboo tomato stakes, and cut them down to
length. Chop sticks, pens, hairsticks, silverware, et al can be used in a pinch.
â?¢ Length: 90 Minutes to 2 Hours
Interaction: Hands-On, Jazz
â?¢ Partnered: Yes
â?¢ Bring with: Rope, rings, and pegs.
â?¢ Clothing: Comfortable to move in
I'm touching you. I'm touching you. I'm touching you. Gaaaah!!
Being a Dom or a Top doesn't have to be all serious and beatings. Bondage and pain are great, but sometimes rather than big direct sadism like torture, protocols, or service, you want to enforce your hierarchy through smaller more subtle means: by hitting too softly, or shooting straw wrappers at them, or sticking your finger in your submissive's ear. Yes, my finger is in your ear, and you will leave it there.
A slap in the face can be a jolt to much more than a cheek - it can strike a deep and primal chord and break basic social boundaries. It has the ability to create a jarring cognitive dissonance in the bottom as they process not only the pain but also the indignation, humiliation, and evena delightful "WTF was that?!"
Come to this class to learn about the inherent dangers and some safe ways to avoid them; learn approaches to striking surfaces, techniques on swing, and a good dose of the psychological aspects of this play in the mix.
The basic forms of rough body play: punching and kicking. We know how to do these things from very early on (just watch a little kid have a tantrum), but how to do them safely and in context of a consensual scene?
In this class we'll look at safety, form, and even style: where to punch and where not to, and more importantly: why; how to do these things safely; how to use good form to keep the bottom (and the Top!) safe and use less energy to get greater results; some good positions to use; and how to look good doing all of it.
Breath play, like so much of rough body play, is very primal and animalistic; the need to breathe is core to life, and tapping into that fear can lead to all sorts of fun! It can be disorienting, terrifying, fuzzy-floating... for some people it brings on heightened sensation and submission. For others, it brings an incredible sense of intimacy, focus, and connection.
We'll talk about several methods, risks and ways to mitigate them, and some techniques to help you find the way that works best on you or your partner.
Sexual abuse and intimate partner violence are epidemics that cut across all gender, racial, economic, and cultural lines. As the kink world consists of people, it stands to reason that these issues are in our backyard as well. For kinksters, abuse is a particularly thorny subject, as there are empowering and healthy dynamics that seem abusive to the outside observer.
In this class, we will drill down to the fundamentals of human connection as they relate to kink and power exchange relationships.
We will challenge the common narratives and turn preconceived notions about abuse inside out. We will also will explore how abuse can manifest, how communities and individuals can respond to abuse, and how to promote a culture of transparency and healing.
Participants will leave empowered to be ambassadors of dialogue and change within their communities.
Join Samantha in a roundtable discussion on some of the unspoken issues that affect our kink communities. Depending on participants' interests, this discussion will either provide a space to further process ways to address abuse within our community, or tackle the very real issues of understanding and coping with mental health issues within the context of kink.
In kink, as in life, things don't always go according to plan. Sometimes an unexpected trigger or limit flares up, a signal is misinterpreted, or there is some kind of communication fail. These situations are sometimes hard to anticipate, and can shake a person to the very core.
As hard and scary as a scene gone wrong can feel, it does not have to end in further explosions or hurt feelings! With the right kind of repair work, it is even possible to build deeper connections and lasting healing for everyone involved.
Regardless of whether you have a long term partner, engage in pick up play, or some combination of the two, this class will help you build the skills you need to problem solve and prevent future SNAFUs.
This class will combine the traditional Japanese martial art, Hojojutsu and a take down. Hojojutsu is an honor based martial art of restraining a prisoner with rope. It is commonly studied for its beauty and efficiency and relies heavily on how the human body works. This class will begin wit a basic takedown technique. The technique will make use of martial art principles to apply a safe physical takedown to a non-trained, "passive," or "unwilling" person. Once taken down, a Hojojutsu tie will be applied. The class will include instruction on taking the bottom down roughly but without injury, Hojojutsu rope bundling (an essential component of Hojojutsu ties), and one basic tie. Attendees should ideally attend with 3mm diameter rope in a 25' length and someone to practice on. Instructor will have some rope available.
No matter which side (or both sides) of the power dynamic you work on, getting what you want out of a power dynamic is challenging. This class is a guided examination of the four corner stones of identity that form the foundation of everything we hope get out of our power dynamic relationships. Introduction to the concepts and how they interrelate will be followed by breaking the class into "Top" and "bottom" identified groups for roundtable discussion of how the concepts play out for each. Class is open and appropriate for anyone interested in power dynamics, whether you're in one or not, whether you are a polar player or switch, whether you do this on a scene to scene basis or you are living in a 24/7 power structure.
They are round and rascally but they can be controlled. Come to class to learn how to
bind breasts, and cock and balls for decoration and compression. Techniques covered
will address different body types and sizes. Bring 15' (or more) of 4mm rope, paracord,
or very thick twine and someone to tie to get the most out of class. Instructor will have
some rope and will encourage the unaccompanied and willing to pair up.
Predicaments are difficult, perplexing, or trying situations. Whether crafted as a trial, a test of dedication, or simple entertainment, predicaments make for fun, imaginative scenes.
This is Sir C's most talked about class. Watch her demonstrate the sadistic glee and clever challenges found in difficult choices. She has been known to pit a boy's muscle fatigue against the threat of drowning or reward a girl for nearly choking herself to steal a kiss.
We will cover types of predicaments with examples, the foundation of safe predicament scenes, and any remaining time will be dedicated to an improvisation period, where the attendees set up the scenario and Sir C creates the predicament.

This presentation focuses on playing safe, especially out on the edge. Several general approaches to BDSM safety are reviewed first. Then First Meeting Safety, General Play Scene Safety, Safe Impact Play, Edge Play, & After the Scene considerations are each discussed. Specific safe practices around playing with blood and breath, and the issue of nerve damage are detailed.
Whippy, stingy and sensual fun, and punishment, can be had with a wide range of toys sometimes collectively, but incorrectly in the presenters' view, called canes. This class details the differences and similarities of these toys and what characteristics distinguish each from the others. The ways that they are best used in the dungeon and bedroom for impact and sensual fun is demonstrated. The class opens with a classic punishment scene, but the more sensual uses of canes is also demonstrated. Hands-on instruction will be available to those interested.
This class covers a variety of types of play with knives and other sharp and shiny things, and, most importantly, how to do this kind of play safely. The demonstration begins with a non-cutting knife play scene, exploring the sensual sensations of steel on flesh. The lecture/discussion portion of the presentation describes various types of sharp things and their scene uses. Issues of hygiene, blood safety, and follow-up care are then reviewed. The demonstration then presents an example of knife play that begins with skin scraping, moves on to scratching, and concludes with cutting. Demonstration and hands-on instruction.
While for many, especially those newer to the BDSM scene, terms like "Daddy" or "Mommy" and "babygirl," "lil girl," or "lil boy" may bring to mind age play role play, or perhaps even incest play, the reality for most who identify this way is, however, more complex. This presentation explores the nature of the Daddy-Mommy/lil girl-boy dynamic as a form D/s erotic power exchange. The roles of Daddies-Mommies and lils are discussed and their essential features are identified. The various types of age play from role play to age regression are then identified and discussed as well.
BDSM has been around for years, but with the advent of the Internet it has become much easier to find out about it, find events and dive into the whole 'scene'. This access has been received with mixed results ' some have been overwhelmed, some have been merely whelmed with all the terms and activities they have read about, heard about or experienced. Let's take a few minutes and look at some of the realities of this and see how we might have fun and not get in too much trouble while doing it.

Plus, a little extra flexibility is always a good thing!
